Thai Therapeutics is a therapeutic massage clinic at 26 Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge, London SW3 1NJ. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us, through this website or at the clinic. You can reach us at that address, by telephone on 0207 589 3709, or by email at info@thaitherapy.com.
Booking enquiries: when you send an enquiry through this website we collect your name, telephone number, email address, and the details of your enquiry — the treatment you are interested in, any preferred date or time, and anything you choose to write in the notes.
Gift vouchers: if you buy a gift voucher we collect your name, billing address, email address and telephone number, and the names and message you ask us to print on the voucher. If the voucher is for someone else, that means we also hold their name. Card payments are handled entirely by our payment providers; we never see or store your card number.
Mailing list: if you join our mailing list we collect your email address, the date you signed up, and the wording you agreed to.
Enquiries: we use your enquiry to reply to you and to arrange your appointment. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you go on to book, taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Gift vouchers: the basis is performance of our contract with you. We keep the order record to meet our legal obligations for tax and accounting.
Your treatment: we use your intake form and client record to provide your treatment safely and to contact you about your appointments.
Mailing list: we send news, offers and updates by email only to people who have signed up to our mailing list, on the basis of their consent. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by using it or by contacting us. We do not send marketing to clients who have not signed up.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your information is handled by the suppliers that run our business for us: our web hosting provider; Stripe and PayPal where you make a payment; Microsoft, which provides our email; the service that sends this website's emails, such as order confirmations and vouchers; the mailing service we use to send promotional emails if you sign up to our mailing list.
If you choose to load the interactive map on our Find Us page, Google receives your IP address and the page you are viewing, and handles them under its own privacy policy. The map does not load unless you ask for it.
They act on our instructions, except that PayPal also uses your information under its own privacy policy if you pay with a PayPal account. Some of them may process your data outside the UK under the safeguards required by data protection law. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
We keep booking enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any appointment that follows, and then delete them. Records of gift voucher purchases are kept for six years, because tax law requires us to retain business records for that long.
We keep your intake form and client record while you continue to visit us, and afterwards only as long as our insurance and legal obligations require, then delete them. If you unsubscribe from our mailing list we remove you from it.
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw any consent you have given — without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work — keeping track of your basket through checkout, and the security checks our payment providers run to prevent fraud. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, so there is nothing here to opt out of. The map on our Find Us page is a picture until you choose to load the interactive Google map; if you do, Google may set its own cookies.
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page, and the date shown at the top will tell you when it last changed.
